Specifies the requirements that apply to the use of the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) on electrical and electronic products to indicate compliance with electrical safety regulations in Australia and New Zealand. It is applicable to low voltage electrical products and products used in low voltage installations, but does not apply to battery-powered products except those where the batteries are recharged in the product. It is intended to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS 4417.1, which specifies the RCM and sets out general rules for its use.
