This Standard specifies the requirements for the design and installation of sanitary plumbing and drainage from the fixtures to a sewer, common effluent system or an on-site wastewater management system, as appropriate. The Standard applies to new installations as well as alterations, additions or repairs to existing installations. Illustrations used in this Standard are diagrammatic only and have been chosen without prejudice. NOTE: The pre-treatment of trade wastes is not specified in this Standard.
