Specifies electrical safety requirements, to be read in conjunction with NZS/AS 3100. Applies to accessories in the form of a plug for insertion into a socket-outlet, containing further socket contacts to accommodate two plugs, or a flexible cord and one plug. The plug portion and socket portion must each comply with AS 3112. Prohibits the use of some features such as lampholders, fuses, and certain combinations of inlet and outlet configurations.
