Radio frequency set: Radio-frequency identification of animals - Code structure, and Technical concept. Both Standards are New Zealand adoptions (with modifications) of ISO Standards. NZS/ISO 11784:2001 specifies the structure of the radio frequency identification code emitted by the transponder carried by the animal. This code is split up into a number of code fields, one of which is a country identifier and the other, a number allocated within that country to the animal. NZS/ISO 11785:2001 specifies the characteristics of the transmission protocols used between the transponder carried by the animal and the receiver to convey the identification code defined in NZS ISO 11784
